Random Thoughts

Well, my blood sugar, after 2 weeks of being on insulin, and reducing myself to one (not 6) pills a day, is down to 122 as of this morning. ALMOST normal. Yay!

I have started charting - for those of you who don't know, I am not sure that I will be able to have chidren because of my past medical history. So, charting helps with figuring out my cycle. This way, if I do this for a few months, I can give it to the doctor when I go in to see the specialist who will tell me if I am able to form my own children.

We picked out the Christmas gifts for all the kids in the family and extended family last night, as well as the dog. I have made up a list of stuff to get for Sans as well as my mom, his parents, and the adults in his family. He is in agreement over most of them (the rest he just doesn't know about). I really love the gifts that we picked out for the kids and I hope that they will enjoy them as well. We really tried to get personal things.

We are having Thanksgiving at our house for the first time this year. This will be the first time I have ever cooked Thanksgiving dinner. I will have help, of course, because sans is an amazing cook, and mom is making a couple of things that I just like her recipes better than mine (I always manage to mess them up somehow). It's just going to be the three of us this year - Mom, Sans and me.

I got my name officially changed, finally. At work, with Social Security, the DOL (Department of Licensing), all that good stuff. What a pain in the butt.

I am almost done with the Thank you cards, but now I need to get started on the Christmas cards. And I am working on a story and some tarot card readings for the girls on theknot.com I am also working on this blog, and a few other things. I am having a great time.

I think this is all for now. I'll update more as I see fit. Happy Thanksgiving!
