Well, things have been hectic. I had not realized how long it had been since I last wrote.
Sans is still loving his job. Going to work every day and having tales to tell me at the end. It's nice because we can really share the experience. I am an outsourcer for the same company he works directly for, so it's kind of funny. But, it's also nice to be able to talk to each other and know exactly what the other one is saying. We got our services taken care of the other day, the cable company showed up at random. So, now we have a DVR, which Sans is just absolutely loving, home phone service (now we just have to pick up the phone), and all the channels, in HD no less. It's great. We always have something to watch, and it's fun to be able to go through the ads.
Speaking of the cable company, they decided to cancel the contract that they had at Stream. I am getting laid off on March 21st. Because of attendance issues (I had a cold for two weeks and I called in sick rather than give it to everyone). Most people are able to move to other contracts. I am fine with the decision, I was never vary happy about working in a call center, but I did make it almost two years. I will miss my co-workers... well some of them anyway. There are some very nice people there. Sans and I figured it all out and I can use this time to get our finances straight, get the house taken care of, find a new apartment, and move on. I will also use this opportunity to find a job that I really will enjoy. I love doing data entry. Don't know why, I just love it. So, hopefully, I will find something along those lines that pays well. I also want to use this time to get some more writing done. I would really like to finish the story of my cancer and get that all done, while I can remember it.
Sans and I did finally get our schedules to coincide, and it has been great to spend some time with him. We love being married. People ask us about it all the time. I feel like it's good that I have something to strive for, and work toward a future with. It makes me try harder. And I think it's the same with Sans. He trusts my judgment with just about everything, so while I do talk to him about every decision, as he does me; I get to find great things to bring to the table. It's fun to share.
Once Sans gets his benefits going, all my medical prescriptions will be covered, and so it will be easier to get everything with that squared away, as well as dental. And Sans seems to think he needs glasses (probably from all that gaming on the computer. Ha! We have a lot of things to take care of, but it will be so worth any sacrifices that we have to make in the end.
Our wedding photographer gave us the last of our wedding pics – mostly reception last month, so if you haven't seen them yet, I will post some links on the end here so you can go to them online. They are so wonderful! We are so happy that we picked Miriam to do our photography.
Mom is doing well, with her new boyfriend... yes, you heard me correctly. Greg is a really nice guy, and seems really fun. We have hung out a couple of times and have agreed to go on a couple double dates. It's great to see mom so happy after all this time. She just positively glows with the whole experience.
Mario is still doing good. He had lost some weight because he hated the food we gave to him for a while. But we bought the old food and he has been gobbling it up and now we can barely see his ribs. He has gone up to 10 ½ lbs. He seems much happier, although he doesn't like being cooped up all day in his kennel. We have started leaving Animal Planet on for him during the day. He seems a lot calmer since we have started doing that.
We think the mouse is gone. With the house being clean, Mario finishing off his food, and nothing being out that would feed it/them, we just haven't seen him bounding around the house. It could be that it has been warmer around here, too, though.
We are hoping to go out and visit Sans' parents in May this year... Hopefully the beginning... We haven't talked to them about this, just because Sans phone broke in half one day. We are waiting for the new one. (So – mom and dad, if you see this, call Tink's phone).
Well, so far, so good. Our “greening” of the house is working out, slowly, but it's coming along. Our garage sale will not be until the week before we move. But, man have we got a lot of stuff. It will be nice to get rid of all that. With the apartment that we are hoping to move into... well,we were going to move into a house, but we decided to go for a one bedroom, a storage unit, or a two bedroom for storage. On a six month lease, we are hoping to save some money so we can put it into savings and be able to afford something nicer when the time comes.
I guess that's all for now. Take care everyone. Hope to talk to you all soon!

42 is still 58 less than the average! your water heater should be in a closet outside your apartment (my old apt actually had it inside) the knob to turn it down is usually at the base. When we turned ours down our PG&E dropped significantly. It meant shorter showers, but its worth it.
You don't update often enough! I check out your blog every now and again, always hoping for an update ... sniff.
Sorry, it's hard to update when nothing is going on. :-) I will do my best to do it more often, though. :-) It's nice to know people actually read it.
I wish I remember the name of it! Some cute little cafe on the same street as Sallie Mac. The street ends in a cliff that just drops into the ocean. I loved it! And I've never seen such amazing weather in FB either, it was gorgeous. One of these days I'll post pics.
that's a great picture, and i am glad to read Mario is doing well. good luck with the move!
