Awesome!

Was Obama's speech not totally awesome (my Southern California roots are betraying me here)? It was very inspiring to both of us, and gave us a lot of hope for our future!

Today, we did a few things, we registered to vote at the local Obama HQ and I volunteered to work in the office! Only for a couple days, but I can only think of the networking opportunities. Not to mention helping form the future - I know, big dreams, huh? I love it. Sans is quite proud of me for this.

We also got our library cards. The libraries here are really cool. They are open every day of the week, and have all kinds of amenities. It's to late to remember what they are right now, but everyone is really nice and extremely helpful. The building for the closest one is gorgeous and has a beautiful park and fountain setting.

I have been applying for jobs and I have some pretty good leads. Hopefully someone calls and hires me soon. I am working on a design for my next tattoo. I want it to be a hummingbird to represent my dad. I've been wanting this for a long time, so once I find a job, then I will probably get it.

Sans is thinking about going back to school, and possibly doing something as a "green" job. He is really inspiring me. It's all about our future, and it is looking great. Or at least, we're trying to be optimistic.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Volunteering at Obama HQ's sounds like a good idea. You never know who you might meet there and it is a positive atmosphere. Best of luck to you in finding a job you like. I hope you find the perfect one soon.
